Account book, 1849-1860, of Abraham Burger, of Ulster Co., N.Y., showing first cost, profit and retail price. At the end of the book are some accounts possibly of James M. Reed, Hampton, N.H. Twenty memorandum books and one box of papers, 1859-1877, relating to business trips, expeditions, and items secured and peddled by Morillo Noyes, a master peddler of Burlington, Vt. Noyes employed twelve peddler-assistants in 1859, and together they covered a large area of country in Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts. Noyes made business trips to Boston and New York and fur-buying expeditions to Canada.
